IPhone 3.0 Jailbreaking !!??
Confused after reading my earlier post !
How can IPhone 3.0 software be jail broken when it is not released yet? Well, the iPhone developers are proactive and work has started on 3.0 Beta version released earlier this week(17th March 2009). The Developer's first verdict "Any Device running 3.0 software can be Jail broken" but have already warned 3G users to be careful with the Beta version if they have already jailbroken. Keep in mind, Apple have claimed this software SDK will be more helpful/useful for Developers to create new applications.

Hello Blogger. Can you also suggest some application by which we can download the contact may be to the SIM or the laptop through itunes before the we upgrade to 3.0.
Hi download the diskaid software and install on your pc and then connect ur iphone. U can now browse the contents of the iphone ...copy the following two files
1) /var/root/Library/AddressBook/AddressBookImages.sqlitedb
2) /var/root/Library/AddressBook/AddressBook.sqlitedb
before upgrading.
Ater upgrading and jailbreaking restore these files back in the same directory and ideally it should work. I compiled these information from a number of websites ...so please try it and let others know if it works...I am going to try this option tommorrow and post the result if u can wait till tomorrow.
