Windows7 - Microsoft announcement


From May 5th 2009, Microsoft allowed general public to download Windows7 Release candidate and try it on their computers. Microsoft will gather information from our PC's to fix few bugs on the release candidate. Windows7 is scheduled to be released 23rd October as per the latest information.This release candidate will work till March 2010 without any problems and interruptions from Microsoft with regular updating of the windows updates. After March 2010, Microsoft will send the notification to all the Release candidate users to upgrade/buy a licensed version of Windows7 and will restart your PC automatically every 2 hours or on a particular time decided by Microsoft and on June 1st 2010, the license of Windows7 Release candidate will expire and will stop working.

Windows7 release canditate - 5 May 09


Microsoft announced this week about the availability of Windows7 release candidate for public access from May 5th 2009. It is already available for download for MSDN account holders and Technet subsrcibers. Microsoft will be gathering information from users PCs to fix few bugs identified during the first deployment. Microsoft also claims that windows7 is reliable,secured,improved management and performance.So far,most of the feedback received from the Windows7 Beta users are positive and we expect the same from the May release which should be far better than Vista. Microsoft reiterated this release is not a final release.

Microsoft set to open Own Retail stores

Microsoft is set to launch its own retail stores in US and around the world. As Windows Vista became the most criticised operating system, the Retailers reduced their sales on Windows in their stores. Microsoft was forced to take some action to overcome this situation and promote the sales of its next windows, Windows7 which ultimately resulted them to open their own retail stores in US. Microsoft is ready to open their stores in each and every mall in US to attract the customers and make them buy Windows7 even during this recession period.

Windows 7 far better than Windows Vista


The News that is floating around tech guys is interesting and useful for those entire Vista’s unfortunate Victims; the Beta Version of the Windows 7 has a massive improvement over the Windows Vista. We can expect the Final Beta version to be further improved when it is released End January 2009.

Windows XP License Purchasing Extended???


Great News for the Windows XP admirers, Microsoft has extended Windows XP license purchasing until 30th May 2009 as opposed to 31st January 2009 with regards to the customers wishes. This also confuses the consumers why Microsoft has extended the license period as we are expecting a service pack 2 for Vista and a Beta build for the Vista successor Windows 7. Keep your Fingers crossed !
